Classical and Rectangular Venturi Tubes in Welded Sheet KVR; FKVR

The EMCO venturi tube is in a welded sheet construction, typically for low air flow measurement in large size pipes and ducts.
Pressure tappings may be the single pressure type or (as shown) 2 x 4 tappings externally connected with annular rings.
The venturi tubes are supplied in carbon steel, stainless steel.

EMCO classical venturi tubes are used as primary elements in flow measurement of steam, liquid and gas according to the differential pressure principle.

Technical Data

• Accuracy : 1,5 % (according to ISO 5167-4)
• Pressure loss :Depending on outlet cone between 10 - 15 % of the differential pressure measured
• Limits for Re. No. :2 x 10 5 < ReD < 2 x 10 6 according to ASME
• Accessories : Shutâ€'off valves and condensing chambers for steam flow.
